The college implements moral education advocating virtue and law-abiding awareness alongside legal knowledge instruction. It currently offers 41 undergraduate-level compulsory and elective courses in legal studies, 36 comprehensive international law courses for postgraduate students, and 26 full-English Master's and Ph.D. programs for international students. In 2012, the college was approved by the Ministry of Education as a "Base for Cultivating Foreign-related Legal Talents," establishing an "Experimental Class for Foreign-related Legal Talent Cultivation" to explore innovative training models. In 2019, the college's dual master's degree program with Washington University in St. Louis School of Law became Ministry-approved. That same year, the "CUPL-University of Montpellier" training program for international organizational legal talents received approval from the China Scholarship Council, aiming to cultivate professionals for international organizations. In 2020, the postgraduate "International Law and Foreign-related Rule of Law Talent Experimental Class" commenced enrollment. Currently, the college annually cultivates approximately 400 undergraduate law students, 100 international law postgraduates (including doctoral candidates), and hosts over 30 international exchange students, with more than 180 international students having obtained Master's or Ph.D. degrees. While emphasizing classroom education, the college maintains a great commitment to practical teaching with distinctive international characteristics. It regularly hosts and supports student participation in over 20 international law moot court competitions, achieving outstanding results. The college has established long-term exchange programs with prestigious universities across 18 countries and regions including the United States, Netherlands, Canada, Singapore, Australia, and Hong Kong, actively facilitating international academic exchanges for students. |
